History
After forming a strong working relationship during consulting engagements, founders Kevin Milden and Robert Bousquet discussed combining their energies to create a new type of design firm. The new company had ambitions of transparency, honesty and quality that were scarce in the marketplace. Although 2007 was a time of great excess in the economy, New Leaders was built with conservative financial values that has allowed it to prosper in harsh economic times beginning in 2008. Internally, the ideas of John Nash and the Nash Equilibrium were embraced to create an alignment of incentives and rewards between the company, its employees and it's customers. On May 1, 2007, our Santa Barbara office was opened with a distinctly clean and open feel, introducing some of Santa Barbara's best entrepreneurs and startups to a new level of service.
