Mary Morouse
Who is Mary Morouse? The Morouse family have been strong advocates of New Leaders since our very early days. Mary is a loving mother of three who cares deeply about the quality of education for her children. She worked for over 15 years with brands such as Microsoft, Xerox, and Amazon which provided a strong foundation of financial understanding, perfectly equipping her for the position. She will help the board develop strategic and financial plans and will be a solid custodian of the district’s $10,000,000 budget.
What did New Leaders do? New Leaders helped in the efficient execution of the website and campaign materials. In a very short two-week period, New Leaders managed to design and build a website that allows Mary to share her ideas with a weblog and RSS feed, and also serves as the hub of a permission marketing program. The campaign materials included buttons, t-shirts, and signage that helped promote the her candidacy. The design of the site is simple and friendly, making it easy for potential voters to learn about Mary and her vision for the school board.
