Signalfire: Getting Started

Stay in contact with your teams from anywhere, with Signalfire group chat. Sign-up Free or Take A Tour

A top down approach to chat
Signalfire displays the most recent message at the top. This way, you’ll find that you’ll always be focused at the top of page. It’s a natural behavior when reading. Each post accepts Textile formatting, displays the user’s avatar, and an approximation of how long ago they posted the message. Every time a message is posted, the page refreshes without reloading your browser. You can use Signalfire to post internal status messages or real-time chat. It’s really up to you.

Many Rooms, One Place
Signalfire is user-centric, which means you have memberships to as many chatrooms as you like. For business, you can access the teams of people you work with on different projects, or invite a customer to a private chat to discuss compensation. Create a room for you and your friends to share files, images, and ideas.

Change the conversation
The sidebar includes a list of all the rooms you can access, and who is currently in each room. This allows you to keep up with each conversation and quickly toggle between each room. Since rooms can have specific purposes, such as a team work area or a private office, you’ll need to be able to quickly hop in and out of rooms to interact with conversations. Next to each user’s name, we’ve added the ability to invite more people or ping an existing member that is not currently in that room, via email or text message.
