RailsConf ‘08: Survival Guide

Life saving information you will need in Portland.

You are about to embark on another adventure to the Oregon wilderness — known for its deep forests, rugged terrain, and high saturation of talented Rails developers. This guide focuses on the practical bits of information you will need to make it through RailsConf ‘08 safe and sound. We realize our guide delivers even less information than the official conference site, but we focused on the stuff you need, designed the way you like. Less is better, right? Get started by selecting one of the following topics below.

1. Preparing For Your Adventure

Unlike most adventures you take, this time you should plan before you go. In the preparation section you’ll find practical information that will make sure you are well informed before you arrive.

2. Complete Conference Schedule

Day 4 — Sunday June 1st

3. Travel Information

Unfamiliar with the area? We’ve got you covered. The travel information section will point you in the right direction so you can set up camp, hunt for food, and, well… get drunk.

4. Equipment & Personnel

You should be equipped with the best gear and information for the territory. We’ve outfitted the Equipment and Personal section with everything you need to stay connected while you are are on your adventure.
