New 3G iPhone with GPS

Surprise, surprise… There has been way too much chatter on the web to let this prediction go down in flames. At New Leaders, we are very excited to tie both location-based services and high speed internet access into forthcoming applications. Steve reviewed the application delivery system named “App Store” that will allow us to develop installable applications that are delivered directly to iPhone users, without a computer required. The apps can be sold or given away for free. Apple accepts the credit card payments and hosts the download for developers, free of charge. We assume they’ll pay you periodically, much like their iTunes affiliate program. I think we all got what we came for, except “One more thing…”, which we are beginning to see less and less of, every year. I think Apple is moving as quickly as it can, which is all any of us can hope for. See you all in line at an Apple Store on July 11th.
