Signalfire

Signalfire is a group chat web application that acts as a virtual office where everyone can meet to exchange ideas. You can participate in many groups, either publicly or privately with your friends, family, and colleagues.

or Visit Website

Signalfire displays the most recent message at the top. Purposely designed this way, you’ll find that you’ll always be focused at the top of page. It’s a natural behavior when reading. Each post accepts Textile formatting, displays the user’s avatar, and approximates how long ago they posted the message. Every time a message is posted, the page refreshes without reloading your browser. So, you can use Signalfire to post internal status messages or real-time chat. It’s really up to you.

Many Rooms, One Place

Signalfire is user-centric, which means you have memberships to as many chatrooms as you want. For business, you can reach the teams of people you work with on different projects or invite a customer to a private chat to discuss compensation. Create a room for you and your friends to share files, images, and ideas.

Change the conversation

The sidebar includes a list of all accessible rooms and who is currently in each one. This allows you to keep up with every conversation and quickly toggle between your rooms. Since rooms can have certain purposes, such as a team work area or a private office, you need to be able to quickly hop in and out of rooms to have conversations. Next to each user’s name we’ve added the ability to invite more people, or ping an existing member that is not currently in that room via email or text message.

Manage the members

If you have admin privileges, you can manage room memberships by allowing other people to be admins, inviting new people, or blocking people from ever returning to the room. This will allow you to invite people for temporary periods, such as a meeting, and then remove their membership privileges. You can always invite them again later.
